  • alternatives to violence on the palouse

    Interested in volunteer opportunities with ATVP who serve victims of domestic violence and promote healthy relationships on the Palouse? Call (509) 332-4357 to learn more about organizing a self-directed food drive, supplies drive or shelter needs drive, or log onto www.avtp.org.

  • palouse care network/wish medical

    Help promote a culture of LIFE on the Palouse! Be on call for short notice manpower for projects like mailings, weeding, counting baby bottle coin donations, shoveling, etc. You can also help stock the Family Resource Room.     Serve as chaplains, information desk hosts, gift garden workers, musicians, patient support, and prescription pet volunteers. A background check, TB test, and orientation are required. Contact Jessica Rivers at (509) 336-7354.

    Serving may include: Be a regular volunteer during food bank hours; be a substitute for a regular volunteer; volunteer to pick up garden produce or food donations; volunteer to pick up bread from local bakeries; help with special events or food drives; be on a call list to help stock shelves or unload shipments.
