Amber King
Preschool Director
Amber received her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA in 2008. She went on to complete her Masters in Education there as well. She has six years experience teaching first and third grades before joining our preschool in 2017. She is married to Martin King and they have one daughter named Lily. They moved to Pullman in 2015 for Martin to teach music education and horn at WSU. Each day at preschool Amber loves to show the love of Jesus, read great books, learn and be silly with her students. She thinks being a preschool teacher is the best!
Natalie Gulseth
Lead Teacher
Natalie Gulseth is the lead teacher for our 3 day class. Natalie is married to Matt Gulseth, Pastor at Concordia Lutheran Church. They have two boys, Paul and Jack. Natalie received her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from WSU. She then went on to teach kindergarten for four years and earn her Masters in Education from Concordia Portland. She has also worked in churches and Lutheran non-profits. Matt and Natalie have been back in Pullman since 2017 and love it! Natalie joined our preschool staff in 2021 and looks forward to teaching your preschooler, sharing her love for Jesus with them, and learning together through play and fun!
Jessica Heiden
Lead Teacher
Jessica Heiden is the lead teacher for our 2 day class. Jessica has her bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Literacy from Lewis and Clark State College. She has four years experience teaching kindergarten, first grade and early childhood. Jessica is married to Zach Heiden, a Chemistry professor at WSU and they have two boys, Isaac and Emmett. Jessica joined our staff in 2021 after spending time raising her boys. Jessica loves teaching preschoolers about Jesus, and growing together through play!
Elizabeth O'Loughlin
Lead Teacher
Elizabeth is the lead teacher for our Jr. Preschool class. She has worked in early childhood education for 18 years—8 of those years are within Concordia Preschool! She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Concordia University, Irvine.
She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Levi, since 2007 and they have three beautiful children! The best part of teaching is watching these amazing children of God discover all the things they are capable of!
Nicole Davis
Assistant Teacher
Nicole is the assistant teacher in our Jr. Preschool class. She has been working in early childhood education for about 10 years, before and after having her 3 children. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences from WSU. While studying at WSU, she met her husband, Jacob, and they were married in 2008. They have 3 amazing children who have all gone to Concordia Lutheran Preschool! What she love about teaching is how God shows His love through our little preschoolers and all the funny things they say!
Jodie Stahlecker
Assistant Teacher
Jodie is the Assistant Teacher for our 3 day and 2 day classes and an Administrative Assistant in our church office. She joined our preschool team in January 2016. She is kind, gentle and encouraging to each preschooler in her care. Jodie has ten years experience working in early childhood settings. She loves to help preschoolers enjoy a variety of art projects, anything crafty and to love the outdoors.
Hannah Ray
Assistant Teacher
Hannah is working towards a Bachelor's of Liberal Arts at New Saint Andrews College. She lives in Moscow but is most recently from Wenatchee, Washington. She has had over a year of full-time experience as an elementary teacher’s aide and has also volunteered in many school, daycare, and Lutheran church settings. She loves guiding children to the love and forgiveness of Christ, hearing the language of preschoolers develop, and helping students communicate.
